If your Jamex leveled out just by reloacting a battery (assuming is a regular car battery), the springs & shocks are too loose, man!
My Jamex lowered the '93 900 by 1.75 or so, just as they claimed. You're right, the rear springs were a little higher, but I had to cut a coil (no shifting of weight would make a difference) to level it off. Very stiff, but not to a point where its uncomfortable. Then again, there are different comfort thresholds for every driver...
Most Ricers (with VERY low rides) are claiming also, that the Intrax don't lower as much as they say, or they are inconsistent in quality (meaning they don't do what they're supposed to).
Nothing against Intrax - just my observations.
