brake caliper wobbles

The slides for the brake caliper yoke are too loose. This causes bad noises and sometimes brake activation when backing up.
Is there a fix for the sloppy yoke other than buying a new caliper?
BTW, what is this special lube mentioned in the Bentley manual for the caliper yokes? Is there a common substitute eliminating the need to go to the dealer?
