SPG, or Not SPG? I have the VIN....

OK, The car I'm looking at looks a hell of a lot like an SPG to me, but it's all silver, including the ground effects. This brings me to believe that it is a Canadian Issue "Aero". However, someone below says that the Silver version didn't even come out in Canada until 88. This car is definitely an 87, has all of the distinguishing characteristics of an SPG (minimal application of insignia/logos, low slung stance, Every available option thinkable), and comes up on Carfax as an 87 900 Turbo. I have the Vin # to the car, is there anything that I can glean from this that would note it as being authentic? The paint looks like the real deal to me. If someone re-painted this car, they must've done a damn good job (i.e. - stripping the car clean, primer/wet-sand entire body, paint/wet-sand entire body, maybe more than once). That just seems like way too much work to do to a car to me, when you could spend another 500-1000 dollars and just get the real thing. The VIN # is: YS3AT35LXH3006214. Thanks for any assistance.
