NTC - Negative Temperature Coefficient sensor. It measures the temperature of the coolant in the engine. The resistance of the sensor decreases as the temperature rises. The ECU reads the NTC sensor's resistance and increases the fuel/air ratio (richer mixture) when the engine is cold (resistance is high.)
AIC - Automatic Idle Control. Bypasses air around the throttle plate to make the idle smooth.
ECU - Electronic (or Engine) Control Unit. Controls fuel injection, fuel pump, AIC.
