...but just put one in while in Best Buy's parking lot so I could listen and compare on the drive home.

I am going with a new head unit in my 1985 (Aiwa CDC-MP3) but I haven't yet decided what I'm doing for speakers. I can't wait to put in an MP3-cd and listen for weeks without hearing the same somg twice! (see review below.)

I didn't want to put a unit in the convertible that would tempt any $@%& a-holes to slash the top and grab it!

The system in the convertible is surprisingly good - even at 90 with the top down. I know that the unit was an upgrade in the Commemorative Edition 'cause the manual sez so but it doesn't say jack about the speakers.

I was wondering if anyone out there had the part numbers for all the different speakers - standard, optional, and accessory!!

And I want to get more of those tilt-grills (for my older cars), so did those change with the upgraded stereo or was it at a certain time/model year?
