Its kind of a PIA to replace. The bolt is really close to the firewall. Many here do their own though - it just might require a ground down socket and a BF breaker bar to crack loose.
It can leak for a while before the oil destroys the rubber and causes the inner part of the pulley to separate from the outer metal. This is bad and may result in the pulley chewing into the oil pump. Mine leaked for about a year before it started making the telltale squeal at startup. Then I replaced it.
The seal is about $5-10 and you would want to do the oil pump o-ring while there. I think about $200-250 labor. You can wait till it wrecks the pulley - then add about $150 for the new pulley.
