Get a bentley manual. I have noticed the throttle switches are different on many models(esp 84- 85 with CIS). Are your throtle switches on the right or left of your throttle body. My 84 turbo has two switches one is AC cut off the other is a throttle postion switch. At wide open throtle it changes the duty cyle of the modulatory valve (increases on time).
