Alternator bad? Confirm diagnosis, please.

Electrical system "idiot light" first appeared 2 days ago, faintly; now bright until 2500 or 3000 rpm. Belts appropriately tightened, no wires obviously broken or fallen off. Trickle-charged battery overnight before testing, see results below.
Full battery voltage to alternator post B+.
Very little voltage at alternator post D+; similar readings with switch on and with engine running. Several volt discrepancy, same ground point used for all testing.
Tentative diagnosis: alternator bad, not just brushes.
