No two saab websites have the same answer, and no two wheel dealerships have the same answer. I'm hoping someone here knows. I'm looking at Ronal R34 wheels, which are on a screaming deal for the Saab 900 size. They're a 16X7.5, which, depending on who you ask, either fits or doesn't. The first time I called Ronal, they said the 35 mm offset that is stock on these wheels would work. When I called back to place the order, they said I needed an 8-mm spacer on each wheel, for $20 each. Local Les Schwab made some calls and determined that I need 35 in the front and 30 in the back. Using Justin's formula (for each .5" in width, decrease offset by 5 mm) I would need 20 mm on those wheels. Has anyone used these wheels, or any 16X7.5 with a 35-mm offset? I'm putting them on an '89 900 Turbo, and really don't want to have to cut and weld once I have them! Thanks!
