Saw this thread and had a similar question. I have the opportunity to purchase 1994 turbo conv., commerative model. It is a 5 speed, has the correct interior and exterior colors, but no commerative badge anywhere (don't know if there was supposed to be one or not). It has 114K and is missing the factory cd,radio and fog lights, and the seat heater doesn't work. The body is in excellent shape, but not pristine -if you look closely, can see evidence of newer pain on driver's side door, but no evidence of physical damage to inside of door. It drives nicely and I am taking it to get checked by a mechanic (a quick check by my mechanic reveled no problems, but i am taking it to the local dealer to confirm). It's priced below 10 K.
ANY ADVICE? Also, how do I know this is the real thing (- a check of the VIN no. doesn't reveal anything other than its a 900 turbo '94 conv)?
Thank you for any help that you can offer.
