The 44psi on the tire refers to that tires maximum inflation value, based on a weight limit written elsewhere on the tire. You should inflate the tires to the value that your car's manual recommends (probably 34f/32r) or whatever you feel comfortable with. I usually use 38 front and 40 rear, but I like to counteract some of the c900s built-in understeer.
