told me the wheel bearing used on 87 and earlier C900's is the same used on 88 and later cars. He told me he wasn't sure, but he thinks you should be able to mount -87 rotors on 88+ swivel members thus allowing the latter's brakes to be used with lug nut mounted rims. I have asked for verification of this tech's idea via a few posts on this site. To date, no one has confirmed or denied the possibility of that idea being correct. Some push the '88+ conversion while others tell me to stick with the current set up unless I plan to track the car.If you ever get a definite answer, please drop me an email. I want the greater stopping power (lug bolt pattern) but really like my custom wheels (lug nut pattern)and would be interested in making this modification as well. TIA
