I have a lead on a decent set of Inca wheels (the weird pyramid wheels from the early 80's). I haven't seen them yet so don't know more. Are these worth anything and if so, anyone want to take a guess?
Also, I was installing my new tie rod ends and I think I have a problem or maybe the wrong parts. I was installing the self locking nut to attach them to the spindle. Once I got the nut on to the point where the bolt portion was reaching the blue ring thing at the bottom of the nut, I was unable to turn the nut anymore. I can see the bolt portion spinning in the tie rod end but there isn't enough room to reach in and lock the bolt portion in place so as to place enough pressure on the self locking nut.
Turned in as far as I can, the tie rod end is no where near locked in place. Is there a trick to this? Did I get the wrong part? Is the bolt portion supposed to spin in the tie rod end?
Thanks everyone... Other than this and waiting for my other rebuilt brake caliper to arrive, I'm done with this job. Sooooo close now.
