townsend has lots of good info, but all wet on this.
any 900c with healthy oem cooling system, std 87C tstat, and 92C switch, will have coolant temps lower than most cars of it's age or newer, and will have lower temperature swings.
the lower temp t-stat and fan switch is a good temporary fix for clogged radiator, which most classics have unless recently replaced.
