Ryan, I've had the same problem, infrequently, on my 89T. It did it with my old disc and when I replaced disc and pressure plate it would still occur now and again. Sometimes my boost gets to 3/4 or better in red zone and this is when it occurs; but not always. Could it be to much power for the stock plate and disc? Maybe an aftermarket set-up with higher clamping forces are needed. Hope this helps. P.S. I've been living with this for 4 years and it only occurs at high levels of boost.
