There is a similar thread below titled "no more clutch". Advice should be there, but...
It sounds like a hydraulic issue. You need to see if you can find out where the fluid is going, but first check the resorvoir to see if it is empty. If not it could be your clutch master cylinder,. If it's empty, maybe your hydraulic line burst, or the slave cylinder is leaking (happened to me recently).
Prices, depends on what is wrong and if you are willing to do the work yourself. I put in a new clutch when the slave cylinder died, and it cost me ~$170 and 5 hours work, but I've done it before. Having someone else do it is probably in the $500 range.
