My 1985 16T900 stated acting up on my weekly drive through the mountains Vancouver to Kelowna, BC. Started to miss as if I had a bad plug. Figured it was a bad plug and put new NGKs and a new dist cap on. Made no difference. Runs like a piece of crap. As if it is missing but it seems to be running on all 4 but just barely. Checked the injectors, they seem to be working fine. Good vacuum. On the straights it will pull 90 mph but hit an incline and blah. Swapped ignition modules and no difference. Swapped ignition wires and no difference.Last night drove from Kelowna to Vancouver . It pulled 45 mph on the climbs in 4th gear.Used double the amount of gas I normally use and no power.Any ideas? I am thinking about replacing the coil. Other than that I am not sure where to turn.Turbo seems to be working but get very little boost.
