93S, no AIC control voltage Posted by keith [Email] (#1462) [Profile/Gallery] (more from keith) on Mon, 28 Jan 2002 20:38:35 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
1993 900S 2.1 with 2.4.2 ECU, 80,000 miles. The engine runs well but, no cold high idle and no step up under load. I replaced the AMM with a known good unit, checked the resistance of the NTC and powered the AIC externally to check. The aic cycles, the NTC is within spec and the AMM works. Also Ive ohmed out the AIC harness. I read ground and resistance between the two other coil circuits. Could the ECU have failed? Also, AC doesnt work or kick idle up... could this be related to the ECU? ( I can jump the relay and it kicks in) The only AC component that I havent checked is the low temp cutoff switch. Thanks for any and all advice!
