oh man, you just need to bring it to a shop that knows what they
are doing. you are fiddling with something where you need not be
too anal also. yes, one way is to simply pop the steering wheel
off, but the spindle the wheel sits on is only going to allow you
a discrete set of re-adjustment...
it seems your car is aligned just fine if it is runs straight down
the highway, and you don't have any strange tyre ware (sp?!).
you can have the steering wheel 'straight' by carefully adjusting
the ti-rods. basically you need to find a shop that will take the
time to do it... and do it properly.
don't go and replace everything (LIKE BALL JOINTS!?!?!, the RACK!?!) unless it is necessary...
