I wrecked my SPG a little while ago in a highway accident and the person that caused the accident fled the scene unidentified. Most likely we will get no, or very little money for my '90 SPG. This is what the car has and needs:

Stock Black 1990 SPG : 107k miles.
Needs:
- Front left Fender
- Radiator support
- Hood
- Driver Door/hinge panel
- Rear right quarter panel
- Rear right passenger (pop-out) glass
- A litle roof work where the right rear qtr pnl was smashed in
- Front left corner/indecator assembly
- 85% of the SPG panels
- Three SPG Rims

The car runs and drives fine, its all cosmetic. The driver door does not shut because of the hinge panel, the pasanger door will open a close but with difficulty due to the blow to the rear right quarter panel. The hatch is fine, a little chipped paint and it sticks a little also due to the rear quarter.

I bought a '89 SPG as a parts car for $300 that is rusting heavily, not really worth saving. Basically i bought it for the SPG moldings and rims but the panels i need may be slavagable off of it, I can't tell how much rust there is under the SPG moldings, but i know i need another diver door.

What makes the decision difficult is that he car runs a drives fine, mechanically the car is very sound. Plus, the low milage and previous excellent condition of the car makes me want to fix it up. Which is most likely what I will do. This is where my question comes in:

What should I do after I fix it up?
- Sell it a get another cheap SPG that needs a little work?
- Keep it a Long, long time, and modify :-)?
- Don't fix it, part both out and buy new car?

The car needs a lot of work i'll admit but when its done it will appear nicer than it was before, fresh paint, not dings etc. But then again it will not be the same, because of all the new metal. Right now i am somewhat swayed in the direction of fixing a keeping, because by selling now i won't get my moneys worth out of it. But do i want to take the chance of furture problems related to the accident?

what do you think?

Thanks for your advise.
