If I get under the car and grab the shaft I can rotate it, can't on the driver's side. There is the telltale sound when coming off the line in second gear not much vibration yet. I just did both sides (drivers included) on my departed 900S and found play on both sides using above method. The passenger side tripod fell apart on removal, driver cupped; driver's side tripod loose but intact, driver O.K. except for seam leaking. The passenger side play was much greater. Sounds like I should plan to do the driver too, though previous experience says it may not be necessary.
