bad start (warm) and bad idle (always) - HELP

My '91 900s suddenly acts strange. When cold-starting, the engine starts (and keeps running), but very rough. Car does not react immediately when I hit the gas, she kind of hesitates. The more RPM's, the better she drives. Idle is higher than it used to be and when I turn the engine off and want to restart whithin, let's say, one hour she does not want to start. My guess is that I drown the engine (how do you say that in English...) because when I keep starting while hitting the gas, eventually she starts with a lot of hesitation (at first) noise (some later) and grey smoke.
Problem started last week. I checked the vacuum lines and one of them had a hole, so I replaced it. The vacuum line Saab sold me turned out to be a fuel hose (thank you, saab...) with a slightly bigger inner diameter. It fits, and with a little work, it is vacuum again (I hope). Problem seemed away for a day or so (could be coïncidence?) and is back again.
I've read a lot about O2 sensors and AMM's on this BB. Can it be one of those or is my vacuum system still bad. What do you think? Please advice, need car for job...
