If you're lucky, it's a bad electrical connection or wheel sensor problem. Check and clean all the wheel sensors and their connectors. Also check and clean the connectors that plug into the brake master/ABS assembly. Check level in resevoir, but if low this will also trigger the other brake warning light. Also clean the relays over near the passenger side fender liner. If a simple clean up doesn't do it, then you might have a bad wheel sensor or more serious problems.
There was an excellent post in the last couple of weeks on checking the pump and pressure reserve cylinder. Basically you watch the brake fluid level drop as the pump pressurizes the cylinder(aka brake bomb). If the diaphram goes, the light will be triggered and the symptom will be a very hard pedal and reduced stopping ability. Another possible problem is the pressure switch on the side of the master assembly.
