Did my 90S, and it wasn't too difficult but you need the "right stuff".
The R134a kit is available from Walmart. I would strongly suggest you buy the Bentley manual from any sponser herein; I used it as a guide and it was very helpful for locating items, torques, etc.
The dual hoses always seem to be the primary leakage point; if you can swivel the hose at the metal tubing transition, and if it is sticky or black you have likely found the leak point.
I replaced this main hose set, the dryer/receiver, and also the liquid line hose coming from my D/R which was rusted fast connection & twisted off. Bought all the Orings from the dealer, then found out they came with the hoses! Be very careful when changing hoses/Orings as the thread is very fine and easily cross threaded (BTDT).
The main tools you don't have which are necessary are the set of gages for reading Hi/Lo side pressures, a vacuum pump for system evacuation. Luckily for me my Dad is a HVAC man and had these. Dump the old freon (sorry Earth) change your hoses & D/R, then I used a R12 flush availabe in 1 qt. bottle from Autozone. This was a bit trickey because it wouldn't flow thru the expansion valve (near the firewall/dash). Pour it in and use air pressure (compressor) to pushit thru the system. Supposedly the R12 oil is uncompatible with the R134a oil, so the Pro's recommend the flush.
Once flushed, and reassemblyed, you need the vacuum pump to pull the system down to a good vacuum (more than 22 in. Hg.). If I remember correctly, the Walmart conversion kit tells you when & where to insert the oil, seems like it was inbetween the 2 or 3 cans of R134A.
Last, the Benley manual did not agree with the AC system lable on volume of oil required. Seems like I went with what was on the car label.
Now you can decide whether your 2 left hands are able to do this!
