...a very frustrating little pin!
there's a special tool available from the dealer,retails @ 30-40 bucks.
Lots of tapping with a drift/punch.
Air hammer seems to work best.
Plan on getting a new pin,as the one you remove will likely be toast.
Do a search under "rod taper" & walt has devised a special c-clamp type tool of his own making--might be worth checking out.
I went ahead & bought the special tool because I've been brought to a dead stop uin the past trying to reomove that thing!!!
Getting cramps from lying under the car,can't get a good hammer blow arc & when it's cold & you're outside-this really sucks!
