Motorcycle oil has higher levels of Zinc. The zinc acts as a last line of defense for the bearings in the engine. Car oil has no zinc because if it is burnt, it ruins the converter. Running motorcycle oil in your car would only cause it to flunk emmisions if it was burning a lot of oil. I'm not sure if its any better, but it sure is more expensive.
