I've never had someone in a newer saab even look over at me in my spg.. or viggen. THe viggen is newer but I really doubt it's a status symbol. Most people don't even know what it is. Someone at work with a 96 900se even said she might mistake my viggen for hers when going to her car after work. I'll admit to getting impatient with slower cars. I'm so used to the extra power that someone driving 50mph might as well be rolling a shopping cart down the highway. I'm very courteous about it unless that person is "regulating" the passing lane.
