all the vac hoses in the cruise. I checked everything else 1st, also thinking a vac leak wouldn't act this way. The problem was one of the short hoses above the knee bolster. Make sure to replace the long hose to the vac pump while you're at it. It isn't as hard as it looks. I just replaced all the short hoses, then 9 months later had to take the knee bolster out again to replace the long hose after it started to leak (this time completely lost cruise control). Now my cruise is rock steady at whatever speed I set it at.
