I found it very difficult to get the cams properly set because of the slack in the chain, so if I were you I would go back and do it again. DON'T move the crank with the chain off!!! Set the engine to TDC, then follow the procedure to set the cams. If you're not absolutely sure they're set properly, they're probably not.
