-Bought new, had exteneded warranty, serviced at dealer for that duration, and since then at a local European car garage, said the mechanic is a SAAB master tech. The garage is near his house and he said we can go talk to them after as well.
-Oil changed religiously, always did the cool down (he mentioned this w/ out me asking, said he has had many turbo cars incl. porsches, etc) Turbo is the original unit.
-has replaced: timing chain, headgasket, valve work? , battery, front shocks-bilstein, new headliner. Car is on 2nd clutch. Tranny is original. He believes he did tie-rod ends in there, but wasn't totally certain.
-No dash cracks, leather is not torn.
-guage package from factory
-The only real negative was that he said the side was hit slightly and a fender was replaced. I don't know how bad this is. Any ideas what to look for here?
-We are going to check it out tomorrow, he lives quite close. Asking price is $3200.
Any advice?
