I just bought a '90 C900 16V 2.0L Automatic. It needs some work not related to the transmission, but before investing time and energy in less important fixes, I want to know if the transmission is healthy. The car shifts well from 1st to second- at about 2600rpms, but from 2nd to third, it shifts late- at about 3500rpms. It feels like it has slight hesitation getting intop third and woud rather have me let off on the gas to shift. Besides using up more fuel, could this be a sign of more serious problems with the tranny down the line or is it a relatively simple adjustment that may be needed?
