It does stick, like crazy. I did 2-3 coats or so (no primer needed), within 30 minutes. If you miss the window, you're supposed to wait a week before respraying while it cures. (it's not a true 2-part epoxy but something close, I guess).
I screwed up and sprayed another coat the next day and the entire finish started to wrinckle up, so I had to wait a week and sand it all down smooth, then start over. So, be warned. Prob. 4-5 day dry is enough.
Something else you might want to try. Instead of reusing the plastic rivets to remount the inner grill, I went down to the hardware store and bought speed nuts and stainless screws. Much easier to separate again, if needed. You can fit 2 top, 4 bottom and throw the rivets in the 3 remaining holes on top (or leave out).
