The wiring for the a/c is pretty simple. look at the wiring diagram in bently or the shop manual and figure the problem out for yourself. you can easily jump all the switches to confirm what switch is causeing the compressor not to come on I have a 93 that's a/c didn't work due to a six pin connector comming apart by the power steering resiviour. Might want to check there if jumping the low pressure switch doesn't start the compressor. the anti-frost switch has also been a problem on one older 900 that I fixed the A/C on.
the light not lighting up on the switch is most likely a burnt out bulb.
