hand drive car. If that's the case, it is probably either a clogged A/C drain overflowing onto the piping dripping on to your foot, or the heater control valve which is more likely. Is this anti-freeze? A big clue for a failing heater control valve. In most cases I wouldn't think that you would have to worry about shorting out any wiring just having wet feet.

Do a search on this bulletin board for "heater control valve" and your questions will be answered. Good luck. Let us know how it turns out.
