Starter won't turn engine after long standstill

Hello again
My '87 engine's been standing still for about two months during a head and turbo job, and upon reassembly I'm encountering problems. When trying to turn it with the starter, the starter motor emits a click as if it's engaging and then nothing. Could it be that the engine has siezed after two months, and that the starter isn't powerful enough to loosen it?
Trouble is, it's an automatic so I can't rock the car back and forth in gear to unsieze ut. Any other solution? The car was running on a 75/25 blend of coolant and engine oil prior to the works. Needless to say things aren't as lubricated as they should be...
Thanks in advance for your help!
Best regards,
Jimmy Schmincke
