Common problem...

The fan motor gets old and requires more amps to run properly, hence blowing that 30 amp fuse.

Simple fix, option A, try removing the fan, taking it apart, oiling up the moving parts, and see if it will run a little smoother, so it won't blow the fuse. Or option B, replace the old fan and get a new one that you know will work.

The problem with 'B' is, the new SAAB fans cost around $270, which is IMHO insane.

Go look for a 10" SPAL pull fan, which flows alot more CFMs than stock (will run cooler) and costs only about $70 on eBay and other various online stores. I believe it also may run on less power, so that's a plus too, not 100% sure about that though.
