Hi to all,
I have a 1989 Saab 900 with the Bosch LH2.4 FI system on board. The problem seems to be as follows:
With AMM contected- will not idle, check light on.
Without AMM contected- will idle rough, no check light.
Now I've checked all hoses etc for leaks and there does not seem to be any.
I've checked the AMM the wire seems to be OK, the throttle body seems to be clean. The plugs and leads are good. The valves are a little bit noisey, but this goes once at operating temp, so would air be bypassing the valves? It is getting fuel, so the fuel pumps OK.Does the AIC tend to cause this sort of problem? Or is this an ECU malfunction? I have not had much to do iwth FI systems so therefore seek any advice.
Thanks
Paul
