1985 900 has known wiring degradation probs, most likely there is a short in the harness that is energizing a component and draining the battery. Take a look inside the wiring looms in the engine bay, likely you will find exposed wiring. My '85 SPG has a similar battery leak issue that I have not been able to find, despite re-wiring most of the harness. As an interim solution, I have a battery quick-release cut-out switch. These are sold by sasab.com and attach to the battery itself. Simply turn the knob, and the battery is isolated from ground so there is no chance of waking up to a dead car.
