I 1st suggested MTF about 3 years ago as an improvement over 70w80 MTL, based on experience of forum of NSX racers. Although only a 75W80 GL4 gear oil, it worked fine on oversized nsx boxes. But due to weak c900 boxes, I always suggested neo 75W90 GL5 synthetic for hard core use. Not sure about shockproof for good syncro performance. The MTF seems to be a semi-synth, based on the low temp pour point listed by an austrailian product supplier 'caltex'.
