I don't think it's the ignition switch. When the switch goes, the car either dies instantly or, if it's not running, won't start. At least, that was my experience. Of course, I could be wrong.
Bad check valve in fuel system?
Get a fuel pressure gauge and check to see if the system doesn't maintain pressure after you turn it off; Bentley has spec for allowable pressure drop.
For the helluvit, I got a fuel pressure test nipple off of a junked fuel-injected GM car, drilled/tapped the firewall-side fuel rail banjo bolt, and screwed it in. Allows you to screw gauge right on and view it while driving -- it'll stick out from hood enough.
