They broke for a reason, often due to flexing of the pad/wires right over a cross wire or under a seat seam. Splice in a short length of insulated wire and make a loop to relieve the flexing that will otherwise break the wire again. Wouldn't hurt to look around under the seat/back covering and check for chafing/thinning, potential breaks of other wires. MIght as well repair/reinforce them before they break this winter!!!
