You got one of those too? Same here! Did you know that just 400 of those were sent to the US? It was the SPG of it's day. The APC system rollout special. Loaded with (then) everything. Slate blue originally, mine is now a repainted deep blue. What shape is yours in? Still have the blue tinted side mirrors and Inca wheels? If you read back on my posts, it'll give you a history of all I've done to repair and or modify. Basically, any part from any 900 car can be fitted. I've got stuff from 1980 (the two vent hood and an uncracked dash) on up to 91. You'll be limited to 8V parts for the engine, obviously. Projects for this spring will be the installation of a polished and ported head, plus a custom front mounted intercooler (the SAAB 9000 version). I currently have the stock 900 16V intercooler in place. I live in a very hot climate for most of the time, so water injection intake is also on the "I want" list. The tranny I have no tips for you other than if and when you do overhaul it, be sure to purchase the larger output shaft pinion bearing. So what's your car's story?
