BE CAREFUL with the oil pickup tube. It's really easy to bump that thing and bend it or knock it out of alignment. If the o-ring is old the seal can be broken really easily and the oil pump will suck air. Either treat that tube like fine crystal or remove it and reinstall just before dropping it onto the tranny. Keep it from hitting the inside of the tranny when putting it together.
In other words just watch the oil pickup tube because it happens (it's happened to me twice now).
