Redrilling Aero rims to fit '86 SPG....info?..tips? Posted by Gordon [Email] (#97) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Gordon) on Sat, 13 Mar 2004 19:56:52 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I have heard about this being done before. I have an '86 SPG, and want to use a set of 16 inch aero wheels on it. The '86 has brand new brake rotors, pads and calipers, it cost me around $600.00 for all the brake work I had done, (I have about 50 miles on the new brakes) so removing them &installing parts from an '88+ is out of the question. I want to redrill the rims so they fit the older style bolt pattern, who has done this? and can you give me a description? I would like to bring them to a machine shop &have it done, &have some instructions for them...
TIA! :)
