Get a piece of scrap hose and hook it up directly to the back of the gauge, suck and blow on the hose. If it doesn't respond, you might have a piece of hose in the gauge. I would suck like hell on the hose to try to dislodge the blockage. If no help, I guess the gauge is cooked.
In 9 years of participating in this bb, I have never heard of a broken boost gauge.
I'll bet you have a popped hose under the dash. When you suck on the hose going through the firewall back in the engine compartment, does it hold?
