Larger tires & a lightened flywheel....hmmmmm Posted by K-Saab [Email] (#1142) [Profile/Gallery] (more from K-Saab) on Thu, 25 Mar 2004 17:39:54 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Just wondering if anyone is running 195/70/15 tires on thier car.
Townsend recommends 196/65/15 tires. This make sense to me since these cars seem to have a very low fifth gear.
To compensate for lackluster performance without the turbo boosting, I'm thinking about running a lightened flywheel to get the ole girl off to a more responsive start 0 - 45 mph.
Please bear in mind that I'm completely happy with my cars performance in 4th & 5th when the car is boosting. She just needs a little extra for my taste. Any thoughts.. good, etc.?
