Hello, everyone. As noted in previous posts, I've been having a few problems with my 1990 Saab 900 Turbo recently. While driving down the interstate the other afternoon, I noticed a sudden loss of power as I attempted to pass in the left lane. The car was able to maintain highway speeds, but upon depression of the accelerator pedal, the car would slightly vibrate and acceleration was very poor. At idle, the car would shake and vibrate significantly and the exhaust coming from the rear of the car seemed to pulsate more than usual. It almost seems as if the car is not firing on all 4 cylinders as it should. I am still able to drive the car, but I am not comfortable commuting more than a couple of miles. I checked all of the vacuum hoses, which appear to be in good shape. I replaced the spark plugs and checked the wires and air filter. The distributor and cap were both replaced less than a year ago, and they seem to be in good shape, as well. The car seems to be running slower than usual, but I can't tell if that is the case or if it just isn't firing appropriately. Upon take-off, the car has very little power and sounds (and feels like) a Greyhound bus. The turbo appears to be working fine and I am now at a loss as to what other things I should look for. This just happened suddenly going down the highway and I'm in need of suggestions, advice, and feedback. Any input you may have is greatly appreciated. Also, please feel free to ask any questions for clarification purposes. Thank you very much in advance. Drive safely, and KEEP ON SAABING!!!
