There are a couple of snaps, just metal bent into a v-shape either side of the speaker cover. After you have removed the two torx screws that hold the cover in, it's just a matter of manipulating it till it pops out. Just lift the rear of the cover(the side closest to the driver) and wiggle it side to side a bit, it should come. When putting it back on, you need to be careful that you get the little plastic extension heater hose lined up with the correct hole, otherwise your windscreen defroster won't work so well. If you are still on the stock speakers, there isn't much extra wire there to work with, so the wire will have to be disconnected before you can pull the assembly close enough to work with without hitting the windscreen. If you haven't chosen your speakers yet, I had a pair of MB Quart 4" speakers in the front of my classic 900 that sounded awesome. I put the tweeter in the top front of the door on each side in a hole I cut for that purpose.
