I have an 88' SPG with lots and lots off little stuff that is wrong with it. Typical sabb stuff but overall makes this car a big problem for me. Daily driver but I now am able to do some work to my car. And I want to totally re-do it. My plans are to run at least 20-25 psi from an upgraded turbo. I know I need bigger fuel injectors, I have the red box ECU, and I plan on doing some block work. My question is what do I need to do to an engine to make it handle those high boost pressures? I am going to do a rebuid kit and I am thinking on a high performance head. But will a rebuid kit handle those pressures? Everyone I have seen is making larger displacement with bigger pistons. But that is a little pricey for me. Basicly what I want to do is run those high boost pressures with doing minimal engine work. So what is safe for engine build up and what should I aviod in my project?
