Max, I've got no experience with the NG's, however, a general rule would be the newer it is...the less quality is in there. I strongly disagree with the GM bashing. Being an old Saab 99'er, I can tell you that every single C900 made is a watered down and cheaped out 99. You can't blame GM for that.If you can find a C900 without rot, and good wiring, go for it. Any interior issues can cheaply be corrected with a few junkyard runs. If you invest in a new engine/tranny, you will get a good return on your investment with a C900. If you manage to find yourself a nice 99, even better. GM is not the boogyman here, it is simply automotive "progress".
